Meet Christa
Hello and Welcome!

My name is Christa (she/her). I have dedicated the last decade to practices designed to calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation. I utilize Chinese Medicine, restorative yoga, and meditation to help patients shift out of chronic stress and into a space where healing is possible. I share these therapies with our community because I know that life is beautiful and it is also hard. But, perhaps, by admitting our humanity - by slowing down and giving ourselves permission to rest - we can begin to feel better collectively.

I truly believe that each individual knows what will help them to feel better. It may be out of sight, but it’s deep down in our bones. In the treatment space, I consider my role to be that of a supportive partner. I cheer you on and wait for you to discover what feels like your medicine. I empower and educate patients to have agency in their own healing processes. Above all, I prioritize deep listening, safety, and a healthy sense of humor.

Prior to moving to North Carolina, I lived in New York City and worked for the Yinova Center. There, I developed an expertise in the treatment of gynecological conditions and fertility. In addition to this, I frequently treat digestive disorders, sleep issues, emotional stress and physical pain. I have over 11 years of yoga teaching experience and 18 years of meditation study. More information on my certifications, degrees and trainings can be found below. I regard my patients as my greatest teachers and feel so grateful to be able to do this work within this community.

I continually strive to create the life I want to live. At this time, I intentionally operate a part-time practice. When not in the office, I can be found racing after my two little boys, cooking something new, or spending time in nature with my family.

I believe in inclusivity, freedom, and equality of all people. All are welcome.
